PowerDown is a simple program that powers down (turn off) the computer. (Unlike NT build-in shutdown.exe, it powers off computer - not only halt it and display message that it is safe to turn computer off).
PowerDown is a software that may be very util when you want to shut down your computer at specified time. In NT systems "at" command can be used to execute PowerDown.exe at desired hour.
For example if you want to turn off computer at 5 am, type at command prompt: "at 5:00 C:\Windows\PowerDown.exe"
Note: PowerDown.exe shuts down computer unconditionally, this means computer WILL go down. All applications will be closed, if any application has unsaved document/data this application will be terminated and all unsaved changes will be lost. So be aware what you are doing and use these software wisely
